Department of Anatomy
The Department of Anatomy is located in the ground floor northern wing of the Medical College. It is well-equipped and has a histology laboratory, histology preparation room, dissection hall, cadaver storage tanks, de-freezer cabinet, embalming room, a museum and museum preparation rooms. The department has a demonstration room, staff rooms, office room, a postgraduate research facilities and a library for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Staff members of the department have published research papers in indiexed national and international journals. Department is equipped with cadaveric simulation lab and has PhD research facilities.

Eligibility: Recognized B.Sc. (MLT)/B.Sc. Degree Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany or Zoology as the main subject or B.Sc. Degree in Home Science with 50% aggregate marks in the above graduation fields. | Eligibility: Candidates who possess degree in Master of Science/ Behavioral Science in a subject allied to Bio-Medical Sciences or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations will be eligible for the Ph.D. course. The candidates who possess a recognized degree of M.Sc. Medical Anatomy will be eligible for the Ph.D. course. |
